Fosber has developed motor blower filter upgrades for the Rotary Shear, Compact II, Master Knife (AC Series) and Downstacker. This upgrade simply bolts on to the existing blower motors. The advantage
of this system is that it is much easier to maintain. The filters take
seconds to change and are a furnace filter type that are easy to obtain.
The knife and stacker are one filter size, the slitter and shear are
another. This means you only stock two types of filters for the dry
end. Assuming you have a full Fosber Dry End with a Series IV knife,
you could change all 10 filters in 5-10 minutes.
